Smeg Instruments has stood for quality medical and laboratory equipment for over 30 years.
Having consolidated its position in the home appliances sector, Smeg diversified its production with the addition of new professional divisions: one dedicated to food service, Smeg Foodservice, and, in 1985, one dedicated to washing and disinfection, Smeg Instruments.
Making the most of the knowledge gained in the washing sector, the first professional glassware washers were produced. Changing performance and certification requirements then quickly led to the development of machines compliant with standards in the medical sector: instrument washers complete with increasingly high-performance and specific baskets and trolleys.
Faced with a particularly demanding market in terms of performance and flexibility, Smeg Instruments subsequently launched a new range of professional refrigeration products.
